Heather LaVallee received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, and she earned two Master’s degrees from Southern Connecticut State University. Her first Master’s was in Psychology with a focus on Child Psychology, and her second Master’s was in Marriage and Family Therapy. For the last seven years she has been a clinical researcher at Yale University working with adults and children struggling with substance abuse. Additionally, she served as a clinician at WellSpring Outpatient Counseling Services where she worked with individuals, couples, and families to treat a range of issues. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, anger issues, communication difficulties, parenting concerns, as well as various relationship struggles affecting couples and families.
