Loretta Munson, LCSW

Loretta holds a Masters Degree from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven. For many years Loretta has worked in many different areas of clinical social work-to include direct and leadership positions-providing her clients a safe and trusting space to heal. Her training, education, and experience allow her to understand the various social and emotional needs of different stages of life, as well as the power of choice. In therapy sessions, Loretta utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person Centered/Positive Psychology to empower clients to transform into the best version of themselves. Loretta believes that every human being deserves a meaningful life, and she is more than willing to assist a person along that journey.  Loretta works with adults and has a focus on women’s health, life transitions, grief and loss, and integrative medical/mental health.
