Keri Fryer, LMFT

Keri earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University, after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Sacred Heart University. She began her career working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system.  Keri also worked with the State of Connecticut Judicial System as a Family Services Counselor, where she conducted divorce mediations, custody evaluations, as well as domestic violence services for the criminal court.  After leaving the Judicial System, she shifted her focus to working with individuals and adolescents in private practice. She specializes in mood and anxiety related disorders, ADHD, anger management, and sports performance issues.  Keri utilizes a strength-based perspective and evidence-based approaches.  She is passionate about helping people achieve their greatest potential and believes everyone can reach their goals.  She is especially passionate about helping adolescents discover lifelong interests and engage in activities that give them a sense of belonging and purpose. Most important to her is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment that will allow clients to explore difficult feelings and life stressors.  When not at work, she enjoys hiking, skiing and coaching softball.
